To manage and coordinate all aspects of practice functionality, motivating and managing staff, optimising efficiency and financial performance, ensuring the practice achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment.
Through innovative ways of working, lead the team in promoting ED&I, SHEF, quality and continuous improvement, confidentiality, collaborative working, service delivery, learning and development and ensure the practice complies with CQC regulations.
Operations Manager – Female
Responsible to the Practice Manager for the day to day smooth running of the surgery.
Key responsibilities include appointment management systems, Staff Training,
Patient complaints and Feedback.
Our operations manager is also responsible for our Reception Team
Further duties include to monitor and improve patient access ensuring it is always effective and achievable. To performance manage, coach and motivate all administration and clerical staff in reception and IT teams, to consistently deliver excellent service. To ensure all staff work to defined procedures and protocols whilst maintaining quality standards. To ensure all staff have the correct skills and training in order to carry out their roles.

Dispensary Manager – FemaleEnsure the effective day to day management of the Dispensary and the Dispensary staff in accordance with Practice policies and standard operating procedures.
Ensure all prescriptions for Dispensing Patients are checked for clinical and legal accuracy and appropriately endorsed according to local procedures and protocols
Sorting prescriptions, checking endorsements, preparing forms and submitting prescriptions monthly to the Prescription Pricing Authority (NHSBSA); preparing vaccine list; dealing with prescriptions returned by the NHSBSA.
Ensure awareness of new national and local initiatives and provide leadership to implement and monitor change.
