Holiday Season
If you are planning to travel abroad, please remember to book in to see the Practice Nurse in plenty of time to discuss your travel vaccination requirements.
During the Holiday season, routine appointments may be reduced. Doctors and Nurses need holidays too! Please be patient if you have to wait a little longer for a routine appointment.
If you have Overseas visitors staying with you?
All EEA (European Economic Area) nationals are covered by reciprocal health care agreements in all other EEA countries, but you need forms to prove this in order to receive NHS medical treatment:
·
If you have form E128, then there is no charge.
·
If you have form E111, then there is no charge for urgent problems or emergencies.
·
If you have form E112, then there is no charge for the conditions stated on the form and no charge for treatment of urgent problems or emergencies.
Do you have none of the above?
You do not qualify for NHS treatment. We can provide private appointments for patients who are visitors to this country and who do not qualify for NHS treatment. You will be charged as a private patient payable at the time of consultation. You will also be charged for your prescription and medicines costs. If you have medical insurance, you can, of course, claim back your costs against your insurance policy. Please, ask us for receipts.
